What is Luminate?
Luminate is a music sales tracking system. It tracks sales of music and music-video products throughout the United States and Canada. Any music product that carries a UPC or EAN barcode and an ISRC code is eligible to be tracked.
Why do I need this?
If you want a chance at the Billboard charts, your release must be registered with Luminate using a UPC (for the album) and ISRC codes (for the individual tracks). Without registration, your sales figures won't be counted. Your UPCs and ISRCs are provided by Eclipse Distro when you distribute your music.
