Am I eligible to apply?
Eligibility depends on how much streaming data there is to work with. Your catalogue needs to be generating income consistently — as a rule of thumb, at least $500 a month. Your music also needs to be distributed through Eclipse. If you're currently with another distributor, that's fine: we can still run the numbers, and as long as you're able to switch, you can access an advance.
How much can I get?
Advance amounts are individual to each artist and range from a few hundred dollars up to tens of thousands. It depends on your current streaming numbers, your expected future earnings, and what you've got coming out. If you have a figure in mind for your next project, tell us on the form.
How can I use the money?
However it moves your career forward. Unlocking royalties early gives you the flexibility to record more often, press vinyl, fund a tour, buy merch, or hire PR and marketing help. There's no restriction on how you spend it.
Is this a record deal?
No. This is about giving artists the resources to stay independent. You keep 100% of your copyrights — you are not signing away your master rights or your publishing, and you stay in full control of your creative decisions. It's your money, paid earlier.
How is it repaid?
Out of your royalties, automatically. Each month a portion of your earnings goes toward the balance until the advance is recouped. There's no separate bill to pay and no personal repayment schedule to keep up with.
